Meanwhile, Sutter came up short against Rio Linda on Tuesday and fell  6-3. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 The  victory made it two in a row for Dixon and  bumps their season record up to 7-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Sutter, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
 Dixon was able to grind out a solid  victory over Sutter when the teams last played  back in March, winning  10-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
