Orrick has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Kingsville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Friday, Orrick was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-38 to the Mules.
Meanwhile, Kingsville waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Drexel 54-40.
Orrick has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Kingsville, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Orrick came up short against the Tigers when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 67-56. Can Orrick avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
