The Los Gatos Wildcats extended their postseason success on Saturday against the El Cerrito Gauchos. They came out on top against the Gauchos by a score of 14-6. The win was nothing new for Los Gatos as they're now sitting on nine straight.
The critical scores for Los Gatos came from Jaylen Thomas and Boxer Kopcsak-Yeung.
Los Gatos' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.8 points per game. As for El Cerrito, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2.
Los Gatos will face off against Central Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central Valley Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games. El Cerrito does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
