Basketball Recap: Culver Academies' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Culver Academies extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jimara Combs. The Culver Academies Eagles were the clear victor by a 59-39 margin over the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies on Tuesday thanks in part to Combs, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in steals (four).

Culver Academies is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Plymouth, they moved to 13-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

When Culver Academies and Plymouth next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Culver Academies will try to stop Marquette Catholic's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Culver Academies is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Plymouth will square off against Northridge and their three-game winning streak at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
