Chatham Central hasn't had much luck against Southeast Alamance recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The two teams will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Chatham Central sitting on three straight wins and Southeast Alamance on 13.

Karaleigh Dodson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Chatham Central is 14-4 when Dodson posts eight or more boards, but 1-4 otherwise. Chloe Scott was another key player, putting up 13 points.
Chatham Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Southeast Alamance humbled North Moore with a 79-17 victory. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 23 points or more this season.
Southeast Alamance's win came from a few key players Chatham Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Inysia McIver, who posted 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. Those 19 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clara LaChapelle, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine assists.
Southeast Alamance pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.2 points over those games. As for Chatham Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Chatham Central has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Southeast Alamance struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Chatham Central was dealt a bruising 49-19 loss at the hands of Southeast Alamance when the teams last played back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chatham Central was down 45-6.
