Central won the last time they faced Monroe Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Central Jaguars were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Monroe Academy Volunteers. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Brock Schmidt, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4. Garrett Gandy was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Three bases.

Central's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Monroe Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Central Jaguars take on Aletheia Christian Academy Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monroe Academy, they will square off against Sparta Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
