With a playoff game on the line, Huntington Park rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-54 win over the Vipers.
Meanwhile, Carson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 91-48 victory over West Adams. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Carson with their most commanding win of the season.
Carson relied on the efforts of Ezekiel Harry, who scored 34 points, and Jacob Ortega, who scored 40 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ortega has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Curtis Sproull Jr., who scored seven points.
Huntington Park's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Carson, their win bumped their record up to 11-16.
