The Immaculate Mustangs won the last time they faced the Joel Barlow Falcons, and things went their way on Thursday too. Immaculate took down Joel Barlow 49-30.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Immaculate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kendra Foy, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Foy is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Saidman, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Immaculate's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Joel Barlow, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Immaculate will be playing in front of their home fans against Bunnell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bunnell is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Joel Barlow, they will head out on the road to challenge Newtown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newtown presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Joel Barlow in Connecticut (Newtown is ranked 16th, while Joel Barlow is ranked 81st).
