On Friday, Manistique came up short against Nouvel Catholic Central and fell 34-27. Manistique has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nouvel Catholic Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Preston Otter, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristen Elizalde, who picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Manistique now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-5.
Manistique does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nouvel Catholic Central is also done with their season.
