Fox Chapel entered their tilt with Mars on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Fightin' Planets get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 last Monday.

Fox Chapel's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Haigh, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Fox Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Mars, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Chapel will host North Allegheny at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mars, they will be playing at home against Taylor Allderdice at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
