Andrew Witherington had a dynamite game for Tates Creek, throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Luke Cooper was another key contributor, picking up 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, George Rogers Clark's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Franklin County, falling 48-7. George Rogers Clark was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.
Tates Creek's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.33 points. As for George Rogers Clark, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
