Jesus Licon, Highland's leading three-point artist this season, solidified his role on Wednesday. Licon made a splash, shooting 43% from the field on his way to 35 points and eight rebounds. He was dominant the last time he took on St. Pius X back in December of 2023, so they probably should've seen this coming. Highland is 5-1 when Licon posts 25 or more points, but 12-13 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Highland and Albuquerque Academy will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played.
