McKinley had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Firestone Falcons. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Firestone scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Coming up, McKinley will face off against Canton South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Firestone, they will square off against Shaker Heights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
