Basketball Recap: Timber Creek Falls Despite Big Games from Lashonda Reeves and Selah Armstrachan

It was a Battle of the Birds when Timber Creek challenged V.R. Eaton on Tuesday. The Timber Creek Falcons fell to the V.R. Eaton Eagles 40-35. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Timber Creek had strong showings from Selah Armstrachan, who posted eight points and 13 rebounds, and Lashonda Reeves, who earned six points. That's the most rebounds Armstrachan has posted since back in November of 2024.

Timber Creek's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for V.R. Eaton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Timber Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-31 victory against Northwest on the 3rd. As for V.R. Eaton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-45 win against Keller on the 3rd.
