Sam Dixon Delivers Electric Performance Vs Mercersburg Academy
Starting off the list is Delaware County Christian's Sam Dixon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dixon rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 195 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Dixon must have Mercersburg Academy's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Dixon last faced the Blue Storm back in October of 2023, he rushed for 321 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 39 yards and a touchdown.

Luke Hunter put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He made eight total tackles and defended two passes. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.
For the season, Hunter has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.67 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 50 receiving yards.

Big Game from Pruessner As Delaware County Christian Won 50-14
The second Delaware County Christian player making an appearance here is Ian Pruessner, and for good reason. He picked up 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 50 yards.
On the season, Pruessner has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 67.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
