Columbia's matchup on Monday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lutheran Cougars. Columbia might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Riley Mathews and Reese Woelfel scored all four of Columbia's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Columbia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-3 record this season. As for Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7-1.

Looking ahead, Columbia will take on Parkway South in a tournament on Wednesday. Parkway South will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Columbia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lutheran, they will head out to challenge Burroughs at 4:00 p.m. on May 7.
