The Genesee Wolves suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 85-51 loss at the hands of Bendle. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Genesee in their matchups with Bendle: they've now lost six in a row.
Loss or not, Genesee got some senior leadership from Aiden Croak and Conner Rouse. Croak scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and seven blocks, while Rouse. dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 43.1% of Genesee's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Q Bannoura was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Genesee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bendle, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Genesee will take on Deckerville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deckerville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Bendle, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Genesee at 7:00 p.m.
