Viewmont extended their losing streak  to five  on Wednesday, dropping them down to 4-6. They were beaten by the Woods Cross Wildcats 43-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the  50-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2024.

As for Woods Cross, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four games by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 Woods Cross had a senior duo take command as  Viliami Tapa'Atoutai rushed for 205 yards and a pair of  TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry and  Jesse Simmons rushed for 137 yards and a pair of  scores on only 11 carries. Tapa'Atoutai also  punched in two  rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Wildcats are undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
 Looking ahead, Viewmont will head out on the road to  face off against  West Field  at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. The Vikings will be up against the Longhorns' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.11  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Woods Cross does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
