Despite the loss, Leo still got an impressive performance from Nathan Foster, who rushed for 252 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Foster's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards dating back to last season. Luke Tackwell was another key player, picking up 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
East Noble's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Phillips, who rushed for 158 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. Phillips really tore up the turf during one magnificent 93-yard run. Having lost for the first time this season, Leo fell to 4-1. As for East Noble, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
