The Pike County Pirates put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over West Laurens. It was an even better day for Christian Fowler as he scored three goals for his team.
Pike County's win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Pike County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat vs. Houston County on the 10th. West Laurens will be playing in front of their home fans against Academy for Classical Education at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
