Wakefield can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down Centre 40-22. The win was just what Wakefield needed coming off of a 52-20 loss in their prior contest.
Allison Adams was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Emily Huehl was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Blue Valley's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Wakefield, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Blue Valley took their win against Wakefield when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 53-33. Will Blue Valley repeat their success, or does Wakefield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
