The West Point Green Wave lost against the Kosciusko Whippets back in November of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. West Point took a 50-32 bruising from Kosciusko. West Point has not had much luck with Kosciusko recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Kosciusko's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cory Guyton, who scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Mancell, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
West Point's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Kosciusko, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
West Point will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Aberdeen is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Kosciusko will be home for the holidays to greet West Lowndes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lowndes has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 395 points over their last six matchups.
