The Imbler Panthers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on Notus with a sharp 58-32 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Imbler also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
Despite the loss, Notus still got an impressive performance from Luis Vargas, who scored 10 points. The contest was Vargas' third in a row with at least ten points.
Imbler's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Notus, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Imbler will take on Weston-McEwen at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Notus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Star at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
