Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prescott). They breezed past the Horatio Lions to the tune of 55-0 on Friday. The Curley Wolves haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Prescott's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dalton Stockton led the charge by throwing for 147 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. The dominant performance also gave Stockton a new career-high in rushing yards (12). Another receiver making a difference was Roderick McKinney, who picked up 68 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Prescott's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Horatio, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Prescott will look to defend their home field on Friday against Harmony Grove at 7:00 p.m. The Curley Wolves will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Horatio, they will head out on the road to challenge Parkers Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
