On Friday Salem take on Winnacunnet at 7:00 PM. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Salem now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
It was close but no cigar for Salem as they fell 28-31 to Windham last Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Meanwhile, Winnacunnet faced Londonderry in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Winnacunnet were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 34-38 to Londonderry. Winnacunnet's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
