The Central Falcons lost against the Douglass Eagles back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Central was beaten by Douglass 85-49. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Central in their matchups with Douglass: they've now lost nine in a row.
Emmanuel Carson went supernova for Douglass, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kwari Harvey, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Central bumped their record down to 1-2 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Douglass, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Central will be playing at home against Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Douglass, they will head out on the road to face off against Surrattsville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
