The Fort Washakie Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Burlington Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Fort Washakie kicked off their season on the road back in December of 2023 and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 63-21 defeat at the hands of Dubois.
Meanwhile, Burlington waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They skirted past Wind River 45-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Burlington has posted yet this season.
Fort Washakie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Burlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
