Despite the loss, Lebanon still got an impressive performance from Ta'Kisa Hastings, who scored 17 points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Hastings posted two or more blocks. Ro Dowell was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
Cookeville's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cara Lee Gilbert, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Charlie Roby, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Lebanon's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7. As for Cookeville, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with that victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.
Lebanon will head out on the road to challenge Stewarts Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lebanon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Cookeville, they will head out on the road to take on Smyrna at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cookeville is facing Smyrna at the right time seeing as Smyrna is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
