The North Kitsap Vikings extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Lynden Lions. They managed a 34-28 victory over the Lions. The win was nothing new for North Kitsap as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Kitsap to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Dungy, who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Logan Sloman, who picked up 54 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Kitsap pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.9 points per game. As for Lynden, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3.
North Kitsap will face off against Tumwater at TBD on Saturday. Tumwater will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Lynden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
