The Kenston Bombers will take on the Twinsburg Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games Kenston has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Kenston fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Holy Name on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 6-5. That's two games in a row now that the Bombers have lost by just one run.

Kenston got a good showing from Luke Schaedler, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Schaedler has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Graysen Bischof was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nolan Gelin, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, while Twinsburg put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Stow-Munroe Falls. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won three matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Twinsburg also got a great performance from Lucas Tinter as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bobby Lemieux, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Lane Conway was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Twinsburg's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Kenston, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-9.
