Last Tuesday, Clinton Christian Academy really took it to El Dorado Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-22 win at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-8.
Clinton Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Clara Hyke, who scored 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hyke has scored at least 25% of Clinton Christian Academy's points. Audrey Foster was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, Applewood Christian managed to keep up with Mid-Missouri HomeSchool until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Applewood Christian was the victim of a rough 52-30 defeat at the hands of Mid-Missouri HomeSchool. Applewood Christian has not had much luck with Mid-Missouri HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 2-0 season records intact.
