Even though the Rockcastle County Rockets scored an imposing 62 points on Saturday, the Southwestern Warriors still came out on top. Southwestern walked away with  a   70-62  win over Rockcastle County. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Southwestern.
 It was another big night for  Kinsley Molden, who  scored 23 points along with two  steals.  Payton Acey was another key contributor,  scoring 17 points.
 Southwestern pushed their record up to 13-6 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Rockcastle County, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-4.
 Southwestern will take on McCreary Central at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. McCreary Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rockcastle County, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Whitley County at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Whitley County will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Rockcastle County is ranked 20th).
