When it comes to explaining why South Harrison lost, one person who can't be blamed is Halle Bland. Despite the final result, she scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Louk, who scored six points.
South Harrison's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Gilmer County, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0.
