Medomak Valley has gone 8-2 against Camden Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Windjammers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Medomak Valley's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Morse 17-0. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Shipbuilders: they've now won four in a row.

Sidney Nichols was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Eaton was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Grace Townsend was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Camden Hills entered their tilt with Brunswick on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Dragons. Nine seems to be a good number for the Windjammers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Like Medomak Valley, Camden Hills also got a great game from a two-way player: Charlotte McGreevy. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. McGreevy has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Camden Hills got a massive performance out of Thea Laukka, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Laukka has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Stone, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Camden Hills pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Medomak Valley, their record is now 10-2.
Medomak Valley couldn't quite get it done against Camden Hills in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
