Even though the Olympus Titans scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, the Orem Tigers still came out on top. Orem snuck past Olympus with a 62-57 win. For Orem, this counts as revenge for the 76-69 defeat Olympus walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2018.
Orem's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asher Young, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. Jax Allen was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with 9 rebounds.
The win got Orem back to even at 1-1. As for Olympus, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Orem will be playing in front of their home fans against Judge Memorial Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. As for Olympus, they will head out on the road to face off against Box Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
