After soaring to 60 points the game before, Exeter-Milligan/Friend were a bit more limited in their contest. They were beaten by Thayer Central 56-18. Exeter-Milligan/Friend was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.
Despite the defeat, Exeter-Milligan/Friend had strong showings from Savana Krupicka, who scored five points along with two steals, and Aniston Meints, who scored no points along with five rebounds. Krupicka hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Exeter-Milligan/Friend struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Johnson-Brock had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.9 points), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 60-7 win over Lewiston on the road. Johnson-Brock has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.
Exeter-Milligan/Friend's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Johnson-Brock, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
