Hagerty was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kellyn Cripe and  Bella Nicoles did most of the damage at the plate:  Cripe  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2, while  Nicoles  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Adrienne Scott, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 On South Bend Clay's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Viv Passwater, who  went 1-for-2 with  an  RBI.
 Logansport's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for South Bend Clay, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
