American Heritage's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Cardinal Newman on Friday. Everything went American Heritage's way against the Bonita Springs Bullsharks as American Heritage made off with an 11-4 win. Considering the Patriots have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dylan Dubovik made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.

In other pitching news, Santiago Montiel looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Jordan Rich, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Joseph Castro was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

American Heritage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bonita Springs only managed four hits.

American Heritage pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Bonita Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Heritage will head out to face off against Canterbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (American Heritage 3.6, Canterbury 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bonita Springs, they will venture away from home to take on Community School of Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
