The Sidney Team won the last time they faced the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Sidney enjoyed a cozy 54-39 win over Bainbridge-Guilford.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayslin Henderson, who scored ten points along with four steals. Henderson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnna Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
The victory got Sidney back to even at 2-2. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will take on Chenango Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Unadilla Valley at 7:00 p.m.
