The Providence Prep Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Methodist Children's Home 57-16 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for Providence Prep as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Lilly Hodge was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Alice Illian was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals.
Providence Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Methodist Children's Home, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Providence Prep will take on Meridian at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Meridian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Methodist Children's Home, they will head out on the road to square off against Joshua Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
