The Community Baptist Conqueror will head out on the road to face off against the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Community Baptist was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-33 to Westover Christian Academy. Community Baptist has struggled against Westover Christian Academy recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, South Guilford HomeSchool earned a 49-39 win over Triad Baptist Christian Academy on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Guilford HomeSchool.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Guilford HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kailey Bullins, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassidy Bullins, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds.
Community Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
