The San Miguel Vipers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 86-15 defeat at the hands of Sabino. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points San Miguel has scored all season.
Sabino's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Spencer Larson, who scored 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Herndon, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
San Miguel dropped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Sabino, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.
San Miguel will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Sabino, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
