The biggest upset of the week belonged to Summit, who defeated 117th ranked Redmond, 48-20.
Creighton Simmons and Hunter McDonald provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Ridgeview. The longest such play in 5A Special District 1 this season, the connection resulted in 51 yards.
Bend's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Simmons threw for 325 and 3 touchdowns and Quinn Fettig had 165 yards receiving. On the ground McDonald contributed 64 yards. McDonald helped Bend's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 53 yards.

Mountain View's Conor Nehl and Nick Hjelm have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Nehl has thrown for 812 yards this season, while Hjelm, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 21 catches for 330 yards. Bend's Jordan Neelon leads the league in rushing yards with 394.
The Storm are currently in second, while Matt Craven's team is in fourth.
The Cougars made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,941 from 6,764. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 26-13 victory over Wilsonville last week.
