That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, Gloria Garay was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Gallagher, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Rahway always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The win made it two in a row for Rahway and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rahway will take on J.P. Stevens at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Roselle, they will square off against Plainfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
