The Hanahan Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight loss. They fell 51-39 to Battery Creek. The contest was a 20-20 toss-up at halftime, but Hanahan couldn't quite close it out.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Maduro, who scored four points along with eight blocks and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Muirheid, who scored 16 points along with two blocks.
Hanahan has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. As for Battery Creek, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
Hanahan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Battery Creek also has no future games currently scheduled.
