Pine Crest won against West Boca Raton last Thursday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Pine Crest Panthers blew past the Cardinal Newman Crusaders 66-46. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Isabella Sangha, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Franky Garfi, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds.

Pine Crest was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cardinal Newman only racked up ten assists.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noelle Coyne, who went 8 for 16 en route to 20 points and seven boards. That was a full 43.5% of Cardinal Newman's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Katie Kent was another key player, putting up 14 points and five rebounds.

Pine Crest's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.6 points. As for Cardinal Newman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Pine Crest has already played their next match, a 63-60 loss against Northeast on the 22nd. As for Cardinal Newman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-22 win against Oxbridge Academy on the 22nd.
