Basketball Recap: Central Valley Academy Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Central Valley Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils with points to spare, taking the game 45-29. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Central Valley Academy will take on Proctor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, they will square off against Canastota at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
