Nadia Bailey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Yazmin Torrez, who scored 11 points.
SA Roosevelt's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zashalee Rentas, who scored 11 points. Taaliah Miller was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
Madison's victory bumped their record up to 13-18. As for SA Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 17 of their last 19 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season.
Madison on the road again on Tuesday and play against Brandeis at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. The timing is sure in Brandeis' favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Madison has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. SA Roosevelt will take on Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three matchups.
