After both having extra time off, the Buchholz Bobcats and the Lake Howell Silverhawks will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buchholz will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Buchholz is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Fletcher.

Buchholz can attribute much of their success to Julia Almond, who had 12 digs and two aces, and Izzy Carter, who had 15 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Carter a new career-high.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Lake Howell's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Oviedo by a score of 3-2. While the Silverhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-20 in the first set.
Lake Howell took Oviedo into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-13, 25-20, 24-26, 15-9.
Buchholz's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Lake Howell, their loss dropped their record down to 21-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Buchholz has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Lake Howell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
