Sunray extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Lexi Gomez. The Bobcats took down the Shamrock Irish 48-33 on Thursday with plenty of help from Gomez, who posted 16 points along with eight steals and four blocks. She is becoming a predictor of Sunray's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is undefeated (and 3-5 when she doesn't).

The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella De La Rosa, who put up five points. De La Rosa is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Shamrock still got an impressive performance from Taylor Cook, who had seven points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Onnarae Dean, who scored eight points.

Sunray's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Shamrock, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Sunray didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-36 victory against Miami on the 5th. As for Shamrock, they have also already played their next contest, a 35-24 win against Follett on the 5th.
